How to install Lets Encrypt AutoSSL in WHM Server

As you know cpanel has a feature to install Free SSL called AutoSSL where you can install SSL powered by cPanel instantly with a click. But in case you don’t like to install cPanel SSL in this service then the popular substitute is Lets Encrypt which comes with same free https features.

It can be installed through SSH then you need activate it as your primary provider in the WHM. This is how you can start using your Free SSL certificates powered by Lets Encrypt. Follow the steps below:

1. Login to SSH with root user.

2. Run Following Command to get and install Lets Encrypt on your server.

/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_lets_encrypt_autossl_provider

 

3. After successful installation Login to WHM with root level access and go to (Manage AutoSSL) option.

4. There in Providers Tab you need to select Lets Encrypt as your Free SSL provider and Press Save Button.
